Arc Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our clients logistics team on a permanent basis. The role involves local deliveries in and around Calderdale, with occasional jobs further afield. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate, consistent working hours, and the opportunity for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out timely and safe delivery and collection of goods
- Load and unload the van manually (some heavy lifting involved)
- Ensure goods are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults
- Adhere to all road safety and company compliance policies
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (must be clean – no endorsements)
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving a van commercially
- Physically fit and able to load/unload items
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible and willing to travel outside the local area if required
- Good communication and customer service skills
