Van Driver

Job Overview: Arc Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our clients logistics team on a permanent basis. The role involves local deliveries in and around Calderdale, with occasional jobs further afield. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate, consistent working hours, and the opportunity for overtime. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out timely and safe delivery and collection of goods * Load and unload the van manually (some heavy lifting involved) * Ensure goods are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition * Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation * Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults * Adhere to all road safety and company compliance policies Requirements: * Full UK driving licence (must be clean – no endorsements) * Minimum 2 years\’ experience driving a van commercially * Physically fit and able to load/unload items * Reliable, punctual, and professional * Flexible and willing to travel outside the local area if required * Good communication and customer service skills What We Offer: * £12.21 per hour, paid weekly * 45 hours per week guaranteed * Regular overtime opportunities * Supportive and friendly working environment Job Title: Van Driver Company: Arc Recruitment Location: Calderdale (with potential for travel further afield) Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week (Overtime Available)
