Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with previous experience of working on hydraulics for a successful, well-established Leeds based company.
- Successful Service Engineer must have recent, demonstrable hydraulics experience.
- Hydraulics qualifications would be useful – if you haven’t got them, the company will arrange for you to attend the training courses (Stages 1-3 at the National Fluid Power Centre).
- Service Engineers looking at £40k basic will need to have had official hydraulics training.
- Any pipe fitting and/or welding experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Company is based in Leeds and when not travelling to site, the Service Engineer will be required on the shopfloor.
- Bonus scheme for work brought into the department from customers.
- 36 hour working week, all hours worked over 36 are paid overtime which starts at x1.5.
- All travelling hours to site (except your commute to the company premises) are paid.
- Average schedule could be 2-3 days per week on site and 2-3 days per week on the shopfloor in Leeds.
- Regularly weekly stop overs expected.
- Ford Transit Van with all required tools supplied.
- Service Engineer will receive a float so never has to pay out up front for meals, expenses, hotels etc.
- Service Engineers applying must have a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
The company is easily commutable from most of West Yorkshire and is well positioned to be commutable from Leeds, Bradford and the surrounding areas including Harrogate, Guiseley, Halifax, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Selby, Wetherby, Brighouse and Castleford.
