We are working alongside a reputable manufacturing company based in Livingston, recruiting a skilled Textile Production Assistant to join their dedicated team. If you have a passion for textiles and a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. What you will get in your new role This is an ongoing, temporary position with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm, although there is some flexibility in this as part-time hours will be considered. You’ll work in a supportive, family-run environment where you will earn an hourly rate of £11.50 per hour. Responsibilities within your new role as the Textile Production Assistant Responsibilities include cutting leather and tartans, stitching watch straps, and assisting with general workshop tasks. Additional duties involve leather stamping, organizing tartans, packaging orders, and assembling watches, with training provided for those without prior experience. Your personality, experience and qualifications It is preferred that you have experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing or similar environment, however this is not essential. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure high standards of work and product quality. Effective time management skills are necessary to meet production deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should be adaptable and willing to assist with various tasks and adjust to changing priorities as needed. Apply now!
