We are looking for an experienced Training Instructor to join our team of trainers. In this role, you will develop and train trainees to obtain their PCV licence in London. As a key member of our PCV instructor team, you will lead best practices to hit our targets. Your responsibilities will include delivering our training programme, instructing new recruits on all aspects of PCV driving and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Driver Training to standard of PCV in accordance with the Department of Transport guidance.
- To deliver all aspects of training required for the candidate to be test ready, including PCV corrective training & Type Training.
- Completion of all progress reports and associated paperwork.
Essential Criteria:
- Applicants must have held a PCV licence for a minimum of three years, with no more than 3 points.
- Should hold or be willing to work towards Driving Instructors Level 3 NVQ – must be achieved within 1 year of becoming a Driving Instructor to be DSA compliant.
Competencies & Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and at all levels.
- A thorough knowledge of the Highway Code and PCV legislation.
- A committed, positive approach to encourage and support new and existing members of staff.
- Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
- Must be flexible.
Pay Rates/Incentives:
- Basic Salary: £200 - £230 per day (8 working hours plus one hour break).
- Food Allowances provided by IntSol.
