We are seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our dynamic team and provide comprehensive legal services to individuals across the region. The successful candidate will be a dedicated, experienced and client-focused lawyer who thrives in a supportive yet challenging environment. This role requires someone who has excellent communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach to client care.
Location: Fakenham, Holt, Sheringham, King’s Lynn, or Swaffham
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time / Part Time Considered
Type: Hybrid available with requirement for 2-3 days in office
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of private client matters, including Wills and Estate Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: Trusts and Inheritance Planning, Deputyships, Elderly Client Affairs.
- Manage and develop a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring a high level of client care and legal expertise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering bespoke and empathetic advice tailored to individual needs.
- Support and mentor junior team members as needed, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing up-to-date advice to clients.
- Participate in business development activities to promote the firm and expand the private client department, including attending networking events, developing referral relationships, and providing content for legal articles.
- Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
- Minimum 1 year of PQE experience in private client, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work to deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach to client care.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between offices and to client meetings may be required.
