🕒 Contract: 6 Months

💰 Day Rate: £700 (Outside IR35)

🔍 I am currently supporting a highly reputable Financial Services institution based in London in their search for a Head of Data. This will be a very interesting role for experienced leaders with expertise in Data Platform & Architecture who have a proven track record in guiding Business Intelligence and Data Platform teams.

🧾Responsibilities:

• Lead the data architectural elements of how the Bank collects, structures and uses our data across the organisation.
• Conceive and design the data structures and integrations that enable us to rapidly, efficiently and effectively deliver on the Bank’s objectives.
• Develop database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
• Support the Bank in the execution of agreed control / governance methods and processes.
• Mentoring of Data Platform Team, ensuring knowledge transfer and training for key users implemented.

🧾 Skills:

• Experience in building & maintaining databases
• Proven Data Warehouse Modelling experience (Kimball, 3NF etc.)
• Experience in delivering and embedding robust Data strategies
• Hands-on background in Data Governance and Analytics with experience in Snowflake and Matillion desirable.
• Advanced SQL Knowledge
