Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting for a FLT driver on behalf of our fantastic client based in Tilbury. This is working for a timber/panel product importer and distributor who are known for delivering exceptional service nationwide. Job Responsibilities: * Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets. * Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas. * Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely. * Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards. * Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors. * Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring workspaces remain safe and accessible. * Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees. * Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required. Requirements: * Valid Counterbalance Forklift License * Previous warehouse experience Monday – Friday rotating shifts, 1 week 07:00-16:00 / 1 week 09:00-18:00 £12.50ph If you\’re an experienced Forklift Operative with a valid license looking to join a reliable team, we\’d love to hear from you
