Senior Finance Manager (Business Partnering)

The Business This large manufacturing organisation designs and manufactures at significantly tight tolerances and exports to a range of countries internationally. They have incredibly strict processes and standards in their engineering to ensure the highest standards in safety and have several sites throughout the UK, along with multiple sites in Europe and the US. they have an enviable pipeline of orders, meaning company stability and, equally as important, opportunities for growth and expansion are unmatched in the North West Market. The manufacturing facility in Bolton is an essential cog int he wider business, contributing £1bn in revenue from its outputs. The Role You will oversee 2 members of staff and be responsible for tracking and managing the financial side of different products (UPCs), making sure the business has the right financial information when needed, to help make informed decisions. You will also be the go-to person (twice a year) for updating and checking how much certain manufacturing projects are expected to cost by the time they are finished. You will need to keep an eye on spending and budgeting for capex in manufacturing equipment and buildings, making sure the projects remain on track and in budget.
