We currently have a position available for an electrician with testing abilities to assist in covering day-to-day maintenance and EICR's within void and tenanted flats & bungalows. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum. Working hours on site will be roughly 8:00am - 4:00pm but this may vary depending on the workload for the day. Generally, the properties are within Leeds, Bradford, Halifax & Huddersfield but can occasionally be slightly further afield.

General scope of works:

  • Carrying out periodic electrical tests within assisted living properties to allow the client to re-let the properties.
  • Carrying out any remedial works necessary.
  • All EICR's will be within void properties but the reactive maintenance works will generally be occupied.

Qualifications & experience required:

  • 18th edition
  • Full electrical NVQ Level 3 including AM2
  • CSCS / ECS / JIB card
  • 2391 testing & inspection or equivalent (this can be provided by the company if required but experience is essential)
  • Social housing / similar roles previously will be advantageous
  • Driving license as a company vehicle will be provided
