Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Fixed Wire Electrician to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be required to cover customer sites in the Dunfermline area.

This position also comes with a company vehicle (private use too), fuel card, testing equipment with laptop/PDA, uniform, bonus incentives, and on call rate.

Hours: 40 per week (weekend and overtime available)

Salary: £39K with earning potential of £50K

Daily Duties:

  • Carry out Inspecting and Testing on electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
  • Complete reports and certification associated with inspection and testing.
  • Carry out LED lighting replacements both in hours and out of hours and in line with the project schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 18th Edition qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline
  • Full UK Driving Licence
