We have an opportunity for a motivated, committed, and experienced Nurse to join our Outpatients Plastics and Dermatology team. Our Outpatient Department covers a wide range of clinical specialities including gynaecological, urology, orthopaedic, breast, allergy, cosmetic surgery, vascular, ENT and urology.

The post holder will be a qualified nurse with NMC registration who has the skills to support our range of clinical specialities. Your duties will include assessing and delivering quality planned treatments, minor surgical procedures, and providing nursing care for patients during their outpatient appointments. Additionally, as an Outpatient Plastics Lead nurse, you’ll be responsible for providing 1:1 Consultant and patient support.

You will work to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. You will ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained in accordance with agreed Hospital policies and procedures. As a skilled senior member of the nursing team, you will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.

What if you do not have plastics experience in an outpatient setting? We will also consider experienced nurses with an interest in plastics, that possess exceptional professionalism and customer service skillsets. Our dedicated team of clinicians and Consultants are happy to train up the right individual.

About you:

  • Minimum 4 years nursing experience required (working as a registered nurse)
  • Prior outpatients experience is preferable such as plastics/dermatology, gynaecology, and urology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven phlebotomy skills
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Previous experience managing, delegating, and supervising staff, while functioning as a shift leader, charge nurse, or team lead is desirable
  • Experience working in private healthcare setting is also highly desirable
