Senior System Engineer (London Area)

I am currently partnered with a digital asset trading and technology firm that specialises in market making and OTC trading.

They are looking for a Senior Rust Developer to assist in the buildout and scale-up of their new HFT platform.

Based in London, Paris, or the US, the role offers either hybrid or remote working. Extensive experience with Rust and Trading Systems required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop trading algorithms; Create and improve algorithms for trading, including those for low-latency, high-frequency trading.
• Build front-office systems; Create systems for algorithmic trading, including data, risk, live trading, and post-trade.
• Integrate with DeFi venues; Onboard real-time data feeds from DeFi protocols.
• Backtest models; Test models on historical data to assess their feasibility and make improvements.
• Implement risk management; Include stop-loss mechanisms, capital allocation limits, and other risk management criteria.
• Monitor systems; Monitor systems in real time and debug issues.
