We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work at our client based in Derby. As a Class 1 Driver, you will primarily be trunking between RDCs and NDCs. Work is usually undertaken on a curtain sider.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:

  • Weekdays - 0500 to 0800
  • Weeknights - (Apply online only)

Requirements for the successful Class 1 HGV Driver:

  • Valid Class 1 License
  • In-date Tacho and DQC card
  • No more than 6 points (No TT, DR, DD or IN)
  • Minimum of 1 year holding your Class 1 license for insurance purposes

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

  • Operating a Class 1 curtain side vehicle
  • Ensuring all paperwork is correctly signed
  • Trunking to NDCs, RDCs, and commercial businesses or collections and deliveries depending on workload

Pay Rates:

  • Weekdays - £18 per hour
  • Weeknights - £19 per hour
  • Saturdays - £20 per hour
  • Sundays - £21 per hour
