We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work at our client based in Derby. As a Class 1 Driver, you will primarily be trunking between RDCs and NDCs. Work is usually undertaken on a curtain sider.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- Weekdays - 0500 to 0800
- Weeknights - (Apply online only)
Requirements for the successful Class 1 HGV Driver:
- Valid Class 1 License
- In-date Tacho and DQC card
- No more than 6 points (No TT, DR, DD or IN)
- Minimum of 1 year holding your Class 1 license for insurance purposes
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
- Operating a Class 1 curtain side vehicle
- Ensuring all paperwork is correctly signed
- Trunking to NDCs, RDCs, and commercial businesses or collections and deliveries depending on workload
Pay Rates:
- Weekdays - £18 per hour
- Weeknights - £19 per hour
- Saturdays - £20 per hour
- Sundays - £21 per hour
