Storeman / Warehouse Operator
Starting salary £24,000
8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday
Full time, permanent role
* Please note that this role will be initially based in the Canonmills EH7 area of Edinburgh, before then being moved to the Sighthill EH11 area in September.
We are looking for an experienced Stores Assistant for our client in Edinburgh. Previous stores / warehouse experience is required and additional training will also be provided with this company who are Scotland`s industry leaders in their sector and who have a fantastic reputation of delivering an excellent service.
The key duties for this role are the receipting, checking, handling, unpacking, storing, picking and packing of consumables, parts and machinery, and you would also be required to maintain inventory records and stock levels.
You will be required to deal with both internal and external customer stock enquiries. Good IT skills and excellent communication skills are essential for this role, along with good problem-solving skills and excellent teamwork.
– 37.5 hour week – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5.00pm
