As an Undergraduate on a 12 months placement, you will gain wide-ranging experience working throughout the whole submarine life cycle, from concept through to activities with the operational fleet. As part of this team, you could be involved in designing, developing and testing complex systems, components and products, as well as supporting the build, test, commissioning and in service operation of all current, new and future classes of submarine (including Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA [the replacement of the Astute class of submarine]).
