ECT of Science Required For An Academy in Suffolk. Strategy Education are working on behalf of an 11 – 16 high school who require an early career (ECT) or experienced teacher of Science to join them for the new academic year. The Academy is based in Suffolk, they are committed to delivering the highest level of education and are currently rated Good by OfSTED.
They are part of a wider trust who have systems and mentors in place to ensure full support is given during the ECT pathway and beyond enabling extensive opportunities for career progression. The successful candidates will be offered permanent roles, you will be employed directly by the school and paid in line with Teachers Pay and Conditions.
You will be expected to deliver a positive learning environment for all students and to teach Science through the secondary key stages including examination level students. You will be expected to teach all areas of Science at key stage 3 and 4 and therefore specialists in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
