Our client is a fast-growing independent television production company with a reputation for making innovative and popular scripted and unscripted shows. The Assistant Office Manager will provide stability and support to the day-to-day operations, allowing the Office Manager to focus on strategic tasks . Experience using Microsoft Office Applications are a must for this role. Managing the reception desk during working hours. Coordinate with runners to cover reception from 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM until close, as well as during lunch breaks. Company Asset log management – Log all laptops and equipment given out and swapped. Sole user and reconciler of Office Manager company credit card purchases (after OM approval) – maintaining meticulous records. Reconcile and create runner floats for Office Manager approval. Efficiently manage the office inbox, ensuring prompt and effective responses to all emails. Engage and ensure work experience complete their allocated tasks and allocate any additional tasks. Report concerns, queries, commendations, and potential process issues to the Office Manager. Act as the lead fire warden and first aider on site. (Training provided) Regular check-ins with the Office Manager. Opportunity to learn about office management and attend training courses. Visibility and guidance from the Office Manager. Strong previous office or reception experience. Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
