Are you a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team in driving and implementing business development tactics for their EME Corporate Group. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career and work with a global team on key initiatives and projects together.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with group leaders and key attorneys to develop strong working relationships and maintain effective day-to-day interactions.
- Drive strategy for brand positioning efforts, including managing strategic conference sponsorships, client presentations, seminars, and webinars.
- Prepare tailored and compelling pitches and responses for new business opportunities, ensuring post-pitch follow-up and assessing feedback to enhance win rate.
- Conduct market research and client analysis to identify industry trends, new business opportunities, and synergies with other practise areas.
- Prepare research to support cross-selling efforts, including relationship reports and targeting plans.
- Maintain and input attorney experience and client information into business development systems.
- Draught and edit marketing collateral, facilitate updates to the firm’s website and intranet.
- Manage submissions for awards and directories to raise awareness and positioning.
- Utilise marketing communication channels, including social media, to convey consistent messages about the group.
- Collaborate with the communications and media team to pursue PR opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
- A college degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Five to seven years of business development experience with demonstrated project leadership.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills and flexibility in approach.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
