HGV Class 1 Lowloader Driver – Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 driver with experience operating lowloader vehicles?

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to operate a lowloader, transporting various types of loads safely and efficiently.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime available.
• Pay Rate: £18 per hour
• Vehicle: HGV Class 1 with lowloader trailer
• Immediate Start

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a lowloader trailer.
• Transporting goods and equipment to various destinations, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Securing loads correctly and ensuring they are transported safely.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maneuvering and positioning the lowloader for loading and unloading in potentially tight spaces.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
• Proven experience operating lowloader vehicles.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Ability to secure loads safely and correctly.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Forklift license or experience (desired)
