Do you have a love for languages and a flair for inspiring young people? An inclusive and ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a Modern Foreign Language Teacher to join their dynamic team and help shape confident, global citizens of tomorrow.
This is a full-time, permanent role teaching across Key Stages 3–5. You’ll bring languages to life, whether it’s French, Spanish, or another specialism, by creating immersive and engaging lessons that promote both academic achievement and cultural appreciation. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking department that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring and effective lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level success while fostering a lifelong love of languages.
- Monitor progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- Take an active role in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, cultural trips, or exchanges.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
- Passionate about languages and their power to connect people and cultures.
- Qualified with QTS and experienced in teaching secondary students.
- Skilled at motivating learners of all abilities through engaging and inclusive practice.
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative, high-achieving school community.
