Overview
Compass Associates have partnered exclusively with a renowned private national complex care provider who offer a range of provisions providing care for the elderly, adults with learning and physical disabilities in addition to mental health and neurological conditions. Together, we are seeking a Hospital Director in the Cheshire area to oversee one of the group's renowned hospitals which provides care for adults & adolescents providing care for addiction, mental health and eating disorders. The hospital in question has a sterling reputation both locally and with commissioners and is fully occupied with a high proportion of the 56 beds being private referrals.
The Candidate
An experienced track record in a similar natured appointment (mental health hospital) is of course desirable however candidates from a regulated environment and offer exposure to private pay patients are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will possess excellent operational and commercial acumen. Candidates from addiction and general hospitals are encouraged to apply.
Location
The hospital is located close to Manchester and is surrounded by excellent motorway links. This is commutable from surrounding Cheshire areas, areas of Staffordshire, Greater Manchester and parts of Merseyside.
Criteria
- Healthcare Registration (therapy or nursing) Desirable
- Extensive management experience within health / social care
- Strong operational capability
- Excellent understanding of the CQC standards
- Commercial awareness and comfortable with budgets
Interview Process
This will be a two stage process via teams consisting of meeting and presentation with the Managing Director followed by a second meeting with the MD, HR Director.
Salary and Benefits
Up to £90,000 per annum (depending on experience) + up to 30% KPI related bonus which can be earned annually and company benefits.
