We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an exciting short-term opportunity in Manchester. This 2-month contract is perfect for a proactive and experienced property professional with a background in leasehold and private rented sector management. The role offers agile working—a mix of remote and on-site responsibilities—and requires a driver due to regular scheme visits.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of leasehold and private rented homes, overseeing repairs, insurance claims, budgets, and customer queries
- Lead on Section 20 consultations, service charge setting, and sinking fund management
- Coordinate void management, liaise with letting agents, and oversee tenancy sign-ups and budget control for PRS properties
- Conduct monthly inspections for leasehold schemes and bi-annual inspections for market rent homes
- Handle final accounts, Right to Inspect requests, and ensure exceptional communication with residents
- Support new scheme handovers, contribute to reporting, and drive service improvements
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, financial protocols, and health & safety regulations
- Proven experience in leasehold and PRS property management
- Comfortable working independently and managing a diverse portfolio
- Confident handling budgets, legal processes, and resident engagement
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
Duration: Approx. 2 months
