What You'll Do:
As a Property Legal Officer, you’ll prepare key legal documents and provide expert legal advice across various areas, including:
- Right to Buy, lease extensions, and collective enfranchisement
- Licences for alterations, discount market sales, and private sector leasing
- Certificates of compliance, routine acquisitions, and registration procedures
You’ll manage cases from start to finish, handling all matters from inception to post-completion while collaborating with clients and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
If you have legal expertise and a passion for property law, this could be the perfect role for you! The ideal candidate will have:
- A Law degree or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge in some of the areas listed above, with a willingness to expand expertise
- Local government experience (preferred but not essential)
- An understanding of Local Government law and a desire to develop skills in Planning, Highways, or Licensing
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong organizational abilities – able to prioritize and work independently
