We are seeking a professional Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and impeccable service.

The Role:
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing an exceptional level of service from check-in to check-out. You will assist guests with their inquiries, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless and luxurious experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, and provide a personalized experience tailored to each guest.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Manage room reservations, process payments, and update guest information using Opera (experience with Opera is desirable but not essential).
- Provide guests with information about the hotels services, dining options, and the Akasha Holistic & Wellbeing Spa, promoting and upselling services when appropriate.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and the concierge team, to meet guest needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, reflecting the luxury and elegance of the hotel.
- Monitor guest feedback and handle any issues or complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as managing emails, filing guest records, and preparing daily reports.
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures, ensuring the well-being of all guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar front-of-house role is desirable, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS is desirable; training will be provided for candidates with relevant hospitality experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanour.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts between 7 am and 11 pm (and occasional night shift coverage if needed)
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and a passion for the luxury hospitality industry.
