Painter / Decorator – Rugby- Secure site, Call for Salary. We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Painter/Decorator to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account in HMP Onley near Rugby this role is based on-site. There may be a need to work some weekends but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary) Painter/Decorator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week (across 7 days where a weekend shift pattern is in place). You will be responsible for: Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison. Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property. Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract. What makes this role unique is you will ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards, sometimes working alongside and supervising the work of prisoners. Prison Security Clearance will be required (we will support you through this process). We want to hear from you if you have: Must be a fully qualified Painter. Previous relevant work related experience. Good awareness and understanding of personal health and safety, method statements and risk assessments. Comfortable working alongside prisoners.
