My client is a large main contractor working on many large construction projects countrywide, the role is based in the North East of England.
ROLE OVERVIEW
They require a Health & Safety Advisor/manager to join their team supporting our MEP business. This role will be based from our Newcastle office with travel across the NE Region. You will report directly to the Group HS&E Director. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive health, safety and environmental advice service across the business to ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant legislation. This is a great opportunity to support a growing friendly team, taking a lead on all environmental actions and objectives, as well as providing ongoing Health and Safety support.

WHAT WE ASK FOR
The successful individual will have experience in driving environmental standards within the construction industry. You should currently hold a membership to either IEMA, IES or IEEM. You must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines. Experience of quality standards ISO14001 is essential, and experience of ISO9001, and ISO45001 would be advantageous. This role involves travel to various sites across the region and therefore you must have a full and valid driving license, as well as access to a vehicle.
