Teamwork Partnership are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Raw Materials Quality & Compliance Technologist to one of our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous analysis and adherence to industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of HACCP principles and quality assurance processes, making it ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining high standards in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical quality assessments (examples include: weight, piece count, dimension checks, challenge colour pantone references, viscosity, organoleptic sampling etc) to specific raw material specifications based on risk assessment.
- Create, manage, and trend raw material intake sheet findings and any issues or trends highlighted to the business for a clear action plan.
- Auditing end to end quality parameters where required.
- Attend, run and contribute to taste panels internally and other quality assessments as required.
- Assist with finished product assessments prior to loading.
- Supplier visits may be required and problem-solving skills put into practice.
- Help create, improve, and manage a set of intake process control records.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but training will be provided; the role is flexible to become “site quality champion”.
- Computer literate, SAP preferable, Microsoft package (Emails, Teams, Excel, Pivot Tables etc).
- Ability to work alone and manage work tasks based on business needs i.e. audits, timelines etc. Organise own workload and have good time management.
- Basic understanding of Metal detectors/checkweighers/X RAY and CCP controls and parameters.
- Self-motivated as some of the role may involve lone working and managing own workload.
- Good communication skills, confidently presenting to a group, talking, or doing show and tells to auditors and customers in a confident but professional manner and clear report writing and problem solving.
Rota: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 7am – 3.30pm
