They are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis working full-time. You will be supporting our client’s production facility where you will be answering user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation and resolving problems., * Provide in-person support and solutions for IT issues across the site

Remote software installations and deployments

Hardware testing and diagnostics reporting

Investigating hardware/software user issues on-site

Resolving tickets raise according to priority

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role required

Must have experience in Windows OS, Windows 10

Basic knowledge of Active Directory required for the role

Competent using DNS/DHCP & Printing services

Will have had hardware configuration experience previously

Track record in software troubleshooting to a good level

Will need good customer service and interpersonal skills

Requires a high standard of verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving skills are essential to the role
-
Must have the basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time

The ability to work with existing SOPs and processes is essential

Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software is a main requirement for the role

Ideally networking experience, but not essential

Preferably a background in manufacturing, but not essential
