Based in Hampshire, our client is growing their marketing team and currently requires a Marketing Executive with a specialism in the digital field, particularly in website branding and search engine optimisation. Knowledge of email and social media campaigns would also be seen as skills of interest.
This Marketing Executive role would suit an applicant who has taken on responsibility for creating and executing marketing projects through the digital field but is now looking to accelerate and work for a sector leader in the IT industry.
Key duties of the Marketing Executive will include:
- Working in an existing marketing team helping to create thought-provoking marketing campaigns.
- Maintaining and enhancing the various websites of the business, looking for trends in usage that can be translated into sales opportunities with clients across the UK (Public and Private sector).
- Undertaking competitor analysis and reporting back into management meetings helping to identify growth opportunities for the company.
- Keeping abreast of competitors and their marketing approaches, then creating and executing marketing projects to increase brand awareness and adapting existing website pages (in conjunction with the design team).
- Assisting in writing email and social media marketing campaigns and helping to collate results for senior management.
To apply, the successful Marketing Executive will ideally have the following background:
- Proven experience in marketing with a specific focus on the digital industry.
- A solid understanding of CMS platforms (WordPress) and have used various Microsoft business tools.
- Great communicator – confident in meetings, whether virtual or face-to-face.
- Full driving licence (hybrid role – 3 days office).
