About the Opportunity: Are you an experienced Move Manager looking to join a high-performing team within a leading name in international moving? We're recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, quality-driven organisation known for its exceptional service in the removals industry. Their team supports private clients moving across the globe — offering seamless, compliant, and carefully managed moving services. Due to continued growth in their private move division, we're seeking a confident, experienced International Move Manager with a strong removals background to take ownership of door-to-door relocations for individual clients.
The Role: In this key role, you'll manage the full removals process for private customers from booking confirmation through to final delivery at destination. You'll coordinate all aspects of the shipment including scheduling, customs clearance, documentation, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage household goods moves from start to finish — booking, planning, and overseeing delivery.
- Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout the entire move process.
- Liaise with internal teams, external agents, shipping lines, customs brokers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure customs regulations, documentation, and compliance requirements are fully met.
- Maintain accurate records and shipment statuses within the internal system.
- Provide regular shipment updates to clients and agents, pre-alerts, and proactive follow-up.
- Share knowledge and assist with training of junior team members when needed.
- Consistently uphold professional standards and act in line with the company's core values.
About You:
- You must have prior experience working in the international removals industry in a move management or removals coordination capacity.
- Knowledge of BAR / FIDI / IAM procedures and international shipping documentation is essential.
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple shipments and clients simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Confident team player who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
