Our client, a leading energy business in the Aberdeen area is looking to engage with Microsoft Azure specialists regarding this role within their IT team as they grow and expand their capabilities! In this role, you’ll design and build secure, scalable cloud solutions that help their business grow and run smoothly. You’ll work closely with IT teams, developers, and business leaders to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their cloud setup.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for all cloud architectures.
- Record and promote best practices, patterns, and standards for cloud architecture.
- Convert technical and commercial needs into detailed cloud architecture designs, mostly using Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
- Create solutions that follow industry best practices for cost-effectiveness, scalability, disaster recovery, high availability, and security.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams and technical specifications.
- Contribute to the creation and advancement of the overarching cloud strategy and IT modernisation.
- Work together with groups to include AI architecture and data ideas.
