Enfield has over 100 parks and open spaces that are available every day of the year. The Parks include playgrounds, major areas of countryside and sports play pitches.Part of the Parks team’s key responsibilities are keeping these in excellent condition for residents and visitors to the Borough. Working in the Parks division is not limited to the Boroughs parks, it will also include maintaining grass verges in the Borough and maintaining green spaces on some of the Borough’s roads and Housing estates. This role is very varied and will often require travelling all over the Borough. We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with the following skills and experience; Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential Minimum plant knowledge is desirable Basic horticultural machinery knowledge is desirable Understanding of Health & Safety is essential Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne (transit tipper) – essential, preferably with experience driving in a London Borough.
