A leading commodities firm in London is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sanctions Professional to join their compliance team with a strong focus on marine sanctions. The position will play a crucial role in ensuring global trade operations adhere to all relevant sanctions regulations, with a particular emphasis on shipping and vessel compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting sanctions screening on vessels, counterparties, and transactions.
• Providing expert guidance on the application of sanctions
• Developing and maintaining sanctions policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and interpreting changes in sanctions regulations and their impact on maritime activities.
• Conducting risk assessments and investigations related to potential sanctions breaches.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners on sanctions-related matters.
