PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR required for an FPSO in the NORTH SEA! - PERM POSITION
Pay Type: PAYE ONLY £95,585 Per Annum
Start Date: ASAP, 3 on 4 off rotation
DUTIES:
- Administration of the Production Department on a day to day basis and informing the Production Superintendent of all developments.
- Ensuring that all staff including contractors have adequate information to carry out tasks safely and efficiently, in compliance with control measures and site safety precautions.
- Supervision of the production team including CRO with the ability to stand-in as CRO if required.
- Reporting incidents and non-conformities.
- Ensuring that the safety, health and welfare of all the production personnel are maintained.
- Acting as Area Authority (Production) for the electronic permit to work system.
- Managing and controlling isolation/de-isolation certificates and complying with company isolation policy.
- Monitoring and controlling mechanical and electrical long term isolations.
- Controlling key lockout box system. Log must be kept up to date.
- Supporting in the resourcing and development of production personnel.
- Supporting and ensuring production personnel reach required standard of competency.
- Ensuring commitment to the Technical and Operation Integrity Standards for all topside operating and services works completed by production personnel.
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of operational budgets and provision of monthly forecasts.
- Liaising with onshore support teams and other departments, keeping them informed of activities that may affect them.
- Providing clear and concise communication of priorities to relevant personnel, including team meetings, handovers and information on targets and performance.
- Performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring all personnel under their jurisdiction including service engineers do the same.
- Deputising for the Production Superintendent when required.
- Being a member of the emergency response team as directed.
- Ensuring proper verbal and written handover during shift change and end of trip.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management System (MMS) along with the ability to input/extract data as required.
- Maintaining Production Department Maximo inputs and managing same on a regular basis.
- Raising Material Requisitions for the ordering of spare equipment and confirming the correct delivery.
ESSENTIAL:
- Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting and HUET Certificate
- MIST / IMIST
- Oil & Gas UK Offshore Medical Certificate
- Oil & Gas UK Certificate of Fitness to Participate in Emergency Response Team Duties
- Approved Awarding Body Certificate Chemical Engineering/Process Operations
Experience:
- Experience as Production Technician on offshore production or onshore petrochemical plants.
- Experience on DCS operations as Control Room Operator.
- Experience at supervisor level.
