Web3 / Blockchain (Stealth Mode) Senior / Staff Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Rust, Golang, distributed systems, time series databases, and data pipelines. The role involves 3–4 days/week in-office.
Join a small, high-calibre engineering team tackling complex challenges in low-latency backend systems and real-time data engineering. As a Senior or Staff Rust Engineer, you’ll architect and scale the backend infrastructure powering a high-throughput, blockchain-integrated platform—bridging client interfaces with robust, high-availability data services.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll take ownership of performance-critical components—from time-series pipelines and distributed state coordination to API design and data integrity. You’ll work primarily in Rust (also Golang), influence architecture and infrastructure decisions, and help raise the technical bar for the team.
The team is made up of passionate technologists focused on building meaningful systems that leverage the potential of blockchain and Web3 infrastructure.
You bring 7+ years of experience building secure, production-grade backend systems at scale using cloud infrastructure. You’ve designed and implemented complex systems involving data pipelines, time-series and relational databases, distributed systems, and virtualized infrastructure. You’ve successfully shipped production code and led cross-functional efforts to deliver products from inception to the market.
Bonus: Familiarity with EVM, smart contracts, or other Web3 infrastructure is a plus—not a requirement.
