We are recruiting for a highly respected residential care provider for children and young people, who is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join their team. The young people in their care, aged between 8-18 years, have a variety of emotional and behavioural needs, and this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on their lives.

Role Responsibilities:
- Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager
- Ensuring that Residential Care Workers are up to date with mandatory training and assisting in their development
- Communicating with the team about individual care plans and their implementation
- Maintaining accurate records for monitoring and evaluation purposes
- Contributing to team and staff meetings to promote effective communication and staff development
- Providing support and care to the young people in the service
- Encouraging young people in their preparation to re-enter education or engage with their current schooling
- Supporting young people with transport to and from school or college
- Preparing meals and maintaining a clean and supportive home environment
- Organising and facilitating social activities

What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence
- A commitment to completing a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent in Children & Young People’s workforce
- Ideally, 12 months of senior experience in a residential care setting, although applications from those new to the role are also encouraged
- A clean DBS check and reference checks will be conducted as per safer recruitment guidelines
