Joinery CAD Draughtsperson required. Our client has designed and manufactured beautiful bespoke joinery for over 25 years for prestigious developments and private clients in and around London and the South East of England, using both traditional techniques and state of the art technologies. They are looking to recruit an experienced Joinery CAD draughtsperson who will perform a variety of design/drafting activities. Based on site in Mayfair, the project involves the fit out of 2 luxury town houses incorporating bespoke joinery installation.
The Joinery CAD Draughtsperson will be responsible for:
- Converting customer specification into detailed productions drawings (AutoCAD)
- Production of manufacturing drawing / cutting lists
- Liaising with clients and external contractors
- Supporting on site management team with Research and Development of products and designs
- Assistance with the management of an existing and growing standard library of details
- Communication with other departments
The successful CAD Draughtsperson will have proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, producing 2D and ideally 3D models.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ideally a Joinery background in bespoke cabinet making, Staircases or Furniture
- The CAD Draughtsperson will be expected to have a solid understanding of the manufacturing process
