I am currently working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Contracts Officer to join the team! This role offers excellent progression opportunities and is located in Wigston with a salary up to £37,000 (DOE).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Contract Officer and have a good understanding of contract law and contract management principles.
Role responsibilities of the Contracts Officer include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions
- Staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting contracts
- Supporting the implementation of the sustainability policy and supporting operational delivery strategy by adopting sustainable principles and practices
- Providing guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters
