Quality Engineer (Glasgow)

About the Role:

AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to join a reputable and well-established engineering company working on substation projects across the Glasgow region. This is a permanent opportunity offering career growth within a thriving and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement quality control processes across electrical substation projects
• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical systems and equipment
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation and reports
• Liaise with site teams, project managers, and clients to resolve quality-related issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across project sites
• Participate in commissioning activities where required

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the power, utility, or substation sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and relevant safety and quality standards
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality frameworks
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK
