Swindon Borough Council is seeking a qualified professional for an interim position with a pay rate of £57 per hour. The role is set for a duration of 36 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Role Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end tendering of projects. This is not a strategic, development, or management role. Only candidates with public sector experience in end-to-end tendering will be considered.
- Re-procurement of the managed stores, currently contracted to Travis Perkins. This project requires updating stock lists and is expected to take 6-9 months.
- Handling complex procurement tasks, including the possibility of creating bespoke framework contracts without utilizing third-party frameworks.
Work Location
The role requires presence at the Waterside Park office at least 2 days per week, potentially more during the managed stores contract work. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
