Are you a Manufacturing Manager that oversees all of the engineering functions within an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment? If so, our client has the role for you!

Our Nottingham based client is looking for someone to come in to optimise and improve the manufacture, calibration and service of our current sensors to internationally recognised quality and technical standards.

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing all engineering functions within the manufacturing division.
  • All technical aspects of manufacturing -- NPI, sub-contracting and outsourcing work where clear benefit can be obtained, improving manufacturing equipment, improvement of work instructions & staff training.
  • Calibration - gaining ISO17025 accreditation, setting up a new calibration lab that meets the requirements of improved accreditation and whilst improving calibration through put.
  • Quality - maintain ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation and improve day to day quality particularly through staff training.
  • Product Compliance - responsible for ensuring the product meets all relevant international standards.

The successful candidate for this Nottingham based Manufacturing Engineering Manager job will have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Experience working within an electronics manufacturing business.
  • Ideally experience leading and managing manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • You will be able to demonstrate that you have achieved continuous process improvement and compliance to international standards in the electronics industry, or a closely related industry.
