We are recruiting for a hardworking Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer in the Yorkshire area, who can carry out a wide variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties. You will be joining a well-established Water Hygiene / Treatment company who have a commitment to deliver efficient and reliable services to their clients. It is preferred that candidates will have good access to the M1 and/or M62 for more convenient travel routes. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits to the successful candidate.
Our client is ideally seeking someone who can cover sites across: Leeds, Bradford, Garforth, Selby, York, Goole, Pontefract, Barnsley, Doncaster, Mexborough, Rotherham, Sheffield, Batley, Halifax, Huddersfield, Keighley, Otley, Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, Dronfield, Worksop, Chesterfield, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Burnley.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience working as a Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer
- Fully versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Comfortable using IT software to complete reports and administrative tasks
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Will ideally hold experience working across a range of sites, including: commercial, industrial, local authority and residential sites
The Role:
- Completing PPM and reactive duties to ensure clients remain compliant with ACOP L8 guidelines
- Showerhead descales
- Inspections, cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Closed system sampling and dosing
- Expansion vessel flushing
- Calorifier blowdowns
- TMV inspections and servicing
- Cleans & disinfections on cooling towers
- Keeping updated records of work undertaken
- Representing the company in a professional manner when on site
