Dynamite Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a successful business based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire. With a finance team of around 80, this organisation relies on its finance function to play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions across the wider business. This opportunity is to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential to extend by a further 2 months.

What will the Senior Management Accountant role involve:
- Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Assist with cashflow forecasting, treasury, and loan management.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Manage financial data accuracy and system updates.
- Provide financial insights to key stakeholders.
- Produce ad-hoc analysis and reports for leadership.
- Uphold financial governance and best practice standards.
Experience of the Senior Management Accountant:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified with extensive finance and management accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with exposure to leasing.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); SAP experience advantageous.
- Analytical and detail focused, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Skilled in interpreting financial data and providing actionable insights.
- Strong communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly.
