Service Care Solutions is working alongside a growing local authority, based in Norfolk, which is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Lawyer to join their team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a motivated and dedicated lawyer who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.
ROLE: SEN Lawyer
RATE: £45-£50ph PAY
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing
LOCATION: Norfolk (remote bar the need to attend the office once per term time)
Responsibilities of the SEN Lawyer role:
- Handle your own SEN legal caseload from start to completion.
- Helping clients to select a barrister and instructing where necessary.
- Work closely with Legal Officer, Senior Legal Officers in support of Senior Lawyers to progress legal matters in SEN law.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with experience in SEN law with 2+ years of PQE in a similar role.
- Strong legal knowledge and expertise in SEN law.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, such as the SEND Code of Practice.
- Experience with case management and file management systems.
