A unique opportunity has arisen for a finance professional to step into a highly commercial role within a growing business, initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential to convert to a permanent position. This role offers a fantastic bridge for someone from a practice or audit background looking to make their first move into industry or for a QBE or nearly/newly qualified accountant seeking more ownership, variety, and stakeholder interaction. You will join a forward-thinking finance team at a time of expansion, supporting client audits, reconciliation processes, and the delivery of high-value open book contracts.
The Role
- You will take the lead on financial analysis and reconciliation work for one of the organisation's largest clients, managing the full P&L and taking part in weekly and monthly client reviews.
- This is a pivotal role supporting the Finance Business Partnering team, freeing up their capacity by owning client audit preparation, data analysis, and review responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own client reconciliations and manage key external audit requests.
- Take full responsibility for the P&L of a major open book client.
- Analyse, extract and review financial data to ensure margin integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Act as a commercial partner to operations, addressing issues such as induction costs or revenue variances.
- Support wider client reconciliation activity and new contract onboarding.

- A practice-trained accountant (ACA/ACCA) seeking a move into a commercial finance role.
- A QBE with strong audit or reconciliation experience.
