Location: Fordingbridge

Salary: £23,809.50 pa

Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch

Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis.

TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy
  • Inspection of customer orders to ensure 'Right first time'
  • Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times
  • Releasing of orders to couriers
  • Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required
  • Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations
  • Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager

Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Be able to work the hours stated
  • Be physically fit - a lot of manual handling, standing for a long period of time and walking involved
  • Have excellent timekeeping and be reliable
