Are you an experienced audit professional looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and forward-thinking accountancy practice? We’re working with a highly respected firm who are looking to appoint an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager, depending on experience.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to lead on a mix of audit and corporate accounts assignments for a diverse client base. It would suit someone who enjoys client interaction, autonomy, and the chance to develop their leadership skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or assist on statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Prepare and review corporate year-end accounts for limited companies under FRS 102 and 105
  • Liaise with clients throughout engagements to ensure smooth delivery and resolve queries
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing support and feedback
  • Identify potential areas to add value to clients through additional services or process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and regulatory changes
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist (qualified by experience also considered)
  • Recent practice experience, including exposure to audit and accounts preparation
  • Good working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and audit standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident managing client relationships and working independently when needed
