We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our clients growing team in Darlington. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance and have a strong background in electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
  • Carry out routine inspections and checks on critical systems and equipment, identifying issues before they arise.
  • Carry out minor maintenance on HVAC and Plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems in commercial environments, responding to both scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to effectively maintain and repair systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation, logs, and reports, ensuring all PPM and reactive work is accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with site management and colleagues to ensure seamless operational continuity across multiple locations.
  • Respond efficiently to urgent breakdowns, minimising downtime and ensuring production or site operations are not disrupted.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Qualifications - NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition City and Guilds
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance with solid working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with compliance and safety standards in a maintenance role.
