Working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment, you will play a vital role in keeping critical machinery and equipment running smoothly, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs across a wide range of industrial equipment and infrastructure.
- Diagnosing faults in mechanical and electrical systems and implementing effective, lasting solutions.
- Supporting improvement initiatives and optimising machine performance through continuous improvement activities.
- Participating in the maintenance schedule, helping to ensure all assets are operating safely and effectively.
- Collaborating with other engineers and departments to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role, ideally within a high-output or process-led environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills; knowledge of automation systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and steam/pressure systems would be highly beneficial.
- Experience working in food production, FMCG, or other regulated, fast-paced industries would be highly desirable.
- A flexible, adaptable attitude with the ability to work morning and afternoon rotating shifts.
