Hours: PM shift = 1.00pm – 9.00pm Location: Burgess Hill Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking, packing, sorting, and moving stock and materials within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipping. Inventory Management: Organize and stock products, materials, and supplies, ensuring the warehouse is tidy and inventory levels are accurate. Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks or other delivery vehicles, using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. Quality Control: Inspect goods for defects or damages and report any issues to the supervisor. Record Keeping: Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, enter data, and process orders. Safety and Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Comply with company policies and regulations.
